Greetings in the precious Name of Jesus our Lord and Saviour!
The day has finally arrived that we have managed to break ground in the nation of Ethiopia by establishing LMC’s newest satellite school in Hossana. Thanks to all your prayers and support and the Lord’s grace, LMC was received with great by the local churches led by the LMC host church, Maserete Kristos (“Christ is the foundation”) Church, under the leadership of Bishop Legesa Tsegaye and two of his elders (Prophet Abarah and Evangelist Adane Mathius).
My Easter trip which consummated a prophetic word that was given to me when I was born-again, began on the 1st of April from Moi Airport in Mombasa, Kenya via Addis-Ababa in Ethiopia and on again a day later 251km south to the town of Hossana (“Praise” – named in honour of missionaries who visited there). I was cordially received by my host (Prophet Abarah) and we immediately sought to meet with Bishop Legesa and Commandant Adise of the Hossana police to finalize plans for the school and to arrange information meetings.
The following day we had our first meeting with the Hadiya police officers who have registered for the class (10 of them) and we prayed together before dedicating the school. After I shared the vision of LMC in Africa, we proceeded to the Maserete Kristos church to meet with Bishop Legesa and the church elders and leaders. Maserete Kristis Church will host and facilitate the satellite school and I committed LMC to provide a 32” flat screen TV to be used to present the curriculum. We also agreed that I would travel back to Ethiopia at the beginning of May for training and the dedication of the school that would start on 12th of May. Once the school is up and running we also proposed that we would organize an outreach & youth conference in the highlands of Ethiopia.
